CAR PARK MANAGEMENT
Quick Links
One of the biggest operational problems faced by many large organisations is that of providing adequate parking for staff and visitors. There are very few things more sensitive than the issue of parking and the effective management of parking provision is becoming ever more important.
TPS have worked for a diverse range of organisations to manage car parking demand issues, both delivering programmes to implement and promote alternatives to single occupancy car travel and also through developing car park management strategies to deal with the demand that exists.
Reducing Car Parking Demand
Within most organisations the car is, and will continue to be the primary method of transport used by staff and visitors when accessing the site. However, a small reduction in the percentage of staff who drive to work is in many cases enough to resolve any car parking issues which may exist.
TPS work with organisations to identify, develop and implement solutions which reduce the demand placed upon car parking by minimising the number of staff/visitors who access a site by car.
Car Park Management
Even when the demand placed upon car parking has been minimised, some organisations still face issues related to the safe and efficient management of car parking. For many staff/visitors the car will remain the only practical or achievable method of transport.
Managing and allocating available spaces is therefore critical to ensuring those who most need access to car parking spaces can be accommodated. TPS have extensive experience of developing and implementing car park management strategies and can provide a tailored solution to car parking demand management.
