Development proposals for a 41 unit residential scheme in Guisborough have been granted approval at planning committee. Having originally prepared a Transport Statement for the site, TPS have since worked with client Taylor Wimpey to prepare supplementary supporting material including junction capacity assessments, a speed survey, & Stage 1 RSA.
Preparation of the transport statement included the need for detailed analysis and application of local and national design standards, with particular focus upon visibility splay requirements. Our team were able to illustrate that based upon site specific factors such as traffic speed, horizontal and vertical alignments, the required visibility splays could be achieved.
